Purchase Fight for a Cure Shirts

My "Relay for a Cure" is off to a good start. With 28 days to go, I have sold 3 out of my 50 "goal" shirts. I designed the shirt in my Graphics Art class at school. These are pictures of the back of the shirts.

The proceeds of the shirts will go to the American Cancer Society via our Floyd Relay for Life event. A portion of the funds stay locally, but a significant portion goes to research so hopefully one day we will have a world without cancer. Help me raise funds to make a difference in a fight for the cure.

Paxton really enjoyed opening his Mickey Mouse Share-A-Bear.  He carries it around with him and it brings him sweet dreams and comfort at night.

So happy to see Tabitha is enjoying her Share-A-Bear. I am so glad her mom shared her picture with us.  Yellow is her favorite color, so she has slept with her Yellow Chevron Share-A-Bear every night since she received it.

Big Shanty Craft Festival

We had our first craft show this weekend at Big Shanty in Kennesaw, GA. It was cancelled today because of bad weather, but we considering the rain and mud on Saturday we had a great first show of the year. We met a lot of really nice people and have some new "Share-A-Bear" fans and customers.

We had one lady buy a bear just for the hospital kids (which really means she is donating two bears), that was really cool.   Below are some of the people that made a difference:

Bear 600

I sold my 600th bear yesterday. I want to thank everyone who is supporting me and following me. This is really 1,200 bears that are making a difference one bear at a time.

Emma is an awesome example of the happiness that my bears brings to these strong kids who are fighting childhood cancer and other illnesses

My first wholesale order

It has been a big week.  I received and shipped my first wholesale order for 25 bears.  This has been pretty exciting.  I learned that the cost of shipping is ridiculous, but Dad helped me find a cheaper way to ship.  I learned how to create an invoice in PayPal (that was easy enough).

I am most appreciative for the business that believed enough in my bears and my cause to purchase them from me.  I am sure this is a big chance and hopefully she will sell out of all her Valentine Bears.

One of my bears is in the window of a locally owned boutique shop in downtown Rome, GA.
